✨A wonderful verse from the Ashtanga Hridayam, a fundamental text of Ayurveda, reflects a holistic perspective on health:



समदोषः समाग्निश्च समधातु मलक्रियः।
प्रसन्नात्मेन्द्रियमनाः स्वस्थ इत्यभिधीयते॥ 43॥


Translation: “A person who has balanced doshas (bodily functions), balanced agni (digestive fire), balanced dhatus (body tissues), and proper mala kriya (elimination of wastes), with a serene mind and controlled senses, is said to be in good health."

What you will experience:



Indian Hatha Yoga

Begin with a series of fundamental yet powerful yoga postures that promote flexibility, strength, and overall health. These asanas are carefully selected to align your body and ease tension, and serve as a perfect counterbalance to demanding lifestyles and intense workouts. 



Jal Neti Kriya

The Sanskrit word, Jal' means water, and 'Neti' means to guide or cleanse. Learn this ancient yogic practice of Jal Neti, a sinus cleansing technique that purifies the nasal passages, enhances breathing, and supports respiratory health. This kriya is essential for maintaining clarity and immunity, helping to prevent illness, especially in our modern environment.



Pranayama
Conclude the workshop with pranayama, the art of controlled breathing. The Sanskrit word 'Prana' is the vital component that sustains life. 'Prana' refers to the vital life force, bio-energy and 'ayama' means control or regulation. Learn and practice weather specific breathing exercises that will help you harness the power of your breath, reduce stress, and achieve a deeper state of relaxation and mindfulness.
